IGTV was Instagram's home for longer videos. Instagram has since merged IGTV into regular video posts, but old IGTV links (with /tv/ in the address) still work — and so does this downloader.

Is it safe and legal?
We never ask for your Instagram username or password, there is nothing to install, and we don't use tracking or analytics. Files are cached for a few hours so repeat downloads are fast, then deleted automatically.
Downloading for personal use — for example to watch offline — is common. Photos, videos and music still belong to their creators: don't re-upload, sell or claim other people's content as your own, and ask for permission if you want to reuse it.
Frequently asked questions
Does IGTV still exist?
IGTV as a separate app was discontinued, and its videos now appear as normal Instagram videos. Links that contain /tv/ still work here.
Is there a length limit?
You can download long videos, but they take longer — especially HD on iPhone, iPad and Mac, which needs converting.
Which format will I get?
MP4 (H.264 + AAC) for the standard download, which plays on all devices.
Can I get only the audio of a long video?
Yes. The MP3 button saves just the sound, which is useful for podcasts, talks and interviews.
Why is my download large?
Long videos in high quality are naturally big files. Use the standard Video option for a smaller file.
Can I download posts from private accounts?
No. Only followers the owner has approved can see posts from a private account, so they can't be downloaded here.
Can I download Instagram Stories and Highlights?
Not at the moment. Instagram only shows Stories and Highlights to logged-in users, and we never log in to Instagram or ask for your account.
Why can't I download an age-restricted post?
Some owners limit who can see their content (for example by age or country). Those posts need a logged-in account, so they can't be downloaded.
Can I download deleted posts or live videos?
No. If a post was removed there is nothing left to save, and a live video can only be saved after it ends and is shared as a normal post or Reel.
