How does Instagram caption copy work?
After a post opens, its caption and hashtags are shown above the downloads. Tap Copy caption to copy the full text — handy for reposting with credit, saving recipes or keeping a quote.
Can I download the thumbnail of an Instagram Reel or video?
Yes. Tap Thumbnail on the video and its cover image is saved as a JPG in the largest size Instagram keeps.
Which link should I copy?
Any public post, Reel or IGTV link works — the ones that contain /p/, /reel/ or /tv/. Links with tracking parts after a question mark are fine too.
Can I download several files at the same time?
Yes. Start one download and you can paste the next link or press another button right away — several files can be prepared at once.
Can I download posts from private accounts?
No. Only followers the owner has approved can see posts from a private account, so they can't be downloaded here.
Can I download Instagram Stories and Highlights?
Not at the moment. Instagram only shows Stories and Highlights to logged-in users, and we never log in to Instagram or ask for your account.
Why can't I download an age-restricted post?
Some owners limit who can see their content (for example by age or country). Those posts need a logged-in account, so they can't be downloaded.
Can I download deleted posts or live videos?
No. If a post was removed there is nothing left to save, and a live video can only be saved after it ends and is shared as a normal post or Reel.
